Nukayama Course

~Nukayama was originally magma!?~

This is a guided tour aiming for the highest peak of Hiraodai, Mt. Nukiyama (712m). We will walk slowly while talking about the difference between limestone and non-limestone. From the summit, you can look down on Kitakyushu Airport, Kanda Town, and Yukuhashi City, and depending on the weather, you can see the panoramic view of Kunisaki Peninsula, Shikoku, and Oita Prefecture!

Elementary school students: 2,000 yen/person

Meeting time 9:00am Chagatokoenchi parking lot

Departure 9:10

Outward route: Chagatoko Garden → (20 mins) → Nakatoge → (30 mins) → Shihodai → (5 mins) → Nukiyama Peak → (30 mins) Nukiyama Peak (rest)

Return route: Nukiyama Peak → (25 mins) → Nukiyama start → (10 mins) → Shihodai → (30 mins) → Iwayama Peak → (20 mins) → Nakatoge → (15 mins) → Chagatoko Park Parking Lot

From the summit, you can see the Suo-Nada Sea spreading out below you, as well as the Kunisaki Peninsula and Shikoku! You can also see the sunrise rising from the sea.
