北九州市平尾台は自然豊かなカルスト台地として多くの観光客を受入れてくれます。

しかし、2世代・3世代先にはこの自然を残していくことが難しくなってきました。

私達が見ているこの風景が次世代に残せなくなったらどうでしょうか…？

今、私達がこの自然に入り、様々なアウトドアアクティビティを通じて楽しんだり、

癒されたり、野草や野鳥を観察したりできていますが、次の世代には同じような経験をさせてあげる事ができなくなったら…そんな悲しい事はありません。

This is just an image, but it is possible that the scenery could turn out like this. This is not an exaggeration, it is a real possibility.

Hiraodai is a "satoyama" (village mountain). Since ancient times, human intervention has preserved the richness of nature. Most people do not know that the scenery that you are enjoying today is still being protected by the residents of Hiraodai.
Currently, the aging of the population is progressing at an unprecedented rate, and it is possible that this landscape may no longer be preserved within the next 10 years.
This is not just a problem for us residents. If things continue like this, we will not be able to leave this wonderful natural environment for the next generation of children.
We made this video in the hope that people will learn a little about the current situation and the history of the people who have been quietly protecting Hiraodai.
